  • Scientific Name: Anthurium 'Delta Force' (A. clarinervium × A. pedatoradiatum)
  • Family: Araceae
  • Genus: Anthurium
  • Origin: Horticultural hybrid created by Steve Nock (Ree Gardens, 1990s); parents native to Mexico, humid mountainous and tropical forests
  • Domestic Use: Striking tropical indoor plant, prized for its unique and sculptural foliage
  • Relevant Characteristics: Unique clone selected for its delta-shaped triangular leaves, with raised silvery veins inherited from A. clarinervium and the deep lobing of A. pedatoradiatum; a rare specimen highly sought after by aroid collectors
  • Average Adult Size: 40–70 cm, with triangular lobed leaves of 30–50 cm
  • Flowering: Spadix typical of Araceae; flowering is secondary to the ornamental value of the foliage
  • Scents: No

🌞 Light Exposure: Medium to high, filtered and diffused light; avoid direct sun which burns the leaves. Ideal near a bright window with light shading.

🚿 Watering: Abundant during active growth (spring–summer), reduced in autumn–winter. Allow the substrate to partially dry out between waterings. Use rainwater or osmosis water.

🌡️ Minimum Tolerable Temperature and Growing Temperature: Minimum of 15–16 °C. Prefers daytime temperatures between 20 and 28 °C. Intermediate-warm climate; sensitive to cold and sudden temperature changes.

🌱 Soil Type and Repotting: Grown in a pot with well-draining and rich substrate (aroid mix: bark, perlite, humus). Repot every 1–2 years in spring when roots emerge from the pot.

🌿 Fertilization: Every 2 weeks during active growth with balanced fertilizer for green plants or specific for aroids. Reduce in autumn–winter.

✂️ Pruning or Other Recommended Agronomic Treatments: Remove dry or damaged leaves at the base. Clean leaves with a damp cloth to maintain the luster of the veins.

💧 Environmental Humidity: High humidity (60–80%). Mist leaves in the morning or use a humidifier. In dry environments, foliage may develop brown tips.

🌿 Flowering Plants

CelaOrchidee.it reserves the right not to ship flowering plants or plants with buds, as these are easily damaged during transport despite careful packaging.

For plants purchased from the FLOWERING section, CelaOrchidee.it is not responsible for the integrity of flowers and buds upon delivery. Complaints and return requests in this case will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to send non-flowering plants, at our discretion, if the flowering stage does not meet our quality standards.

📏 Sizes and Stages

  • Plants N years to flower: young plants that will take approximately N years to flower.
  • Flowering-strength plants: young plants or divisions of mature plants that have already flowered once or will reach flowering size within the year.
  • Adult plants: good-sized plants that have already flowered multiple times.

The ability to re-flower over time depends solely on the customer's proper care. Pot size, substrates, and supports may vary depending on availability.

🛡️ Liability

  • Goods travel at the risk and peril of the customer.
  • CelaOrchidee.it assumes no responsibility for disruptions caused by force majeure (accidents, strikes, natural events, etc.).
  • CelaOrchidee.it is not responsible for fraudulent use of credit cards by third parties: the card number is never accessible to the seller, being transmitted directly to the bank via a protected connection.
  • The photographs on the website are purely indicative. Some images come from external sources: anyone who recognizes their photo and does not wish to see it published is kindly asked to contact us.

Complaints

  • Goods must be inspected within 24 hours of receipt, even if the packaging is intact.
  • Any discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Reports beyond this deadline will not be considered.

Cancellations or Modifications

  • Cancellation or modification is only possible before the order enters processing.
  • With PayPal payment, it is never possible to cancel or modify the order.

Returns

  • CelaOrchidee.it will replace the product only if it does not conform to what was ordered, subject to written agreement within 30 days of receipt.
  • It is not possible to return plants that conform to the order as they are perishable goods.
  • Non-perishable materials can be returned within 14 days of receipt, intact, unwashed, undamaged, and with original labels. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, including responsibility in case of loss or damage of the products.

Refunds

  • The refund will be processed within 14 days of the withdrawal notification, after verification of the returned products.
  • The refund will be issued via voucher or gift card.
  • In case of installment payment, the refund will be made after receipt of the last installment.
