At our nursery, we grow different varieties of the same plant. Plants are living organisms and can therefore differ from one another. Variations in colour and size are possible.

What are example images?
We offer an extremely wide and varied selection, with thousands of plants. As individual plants change shape, colour and size from week to week, it is impossible for our small team to photograph them all.

You will therefore rarely receive the exact plant shown in the photo. Our aim is to offer you a pleasant, environmentally friendly shopping experience with complete peace of mind.

  • Genus: Mystacidium
  • Origin: Southern Africa (South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe); epiphytic species of humid subtropical forests
  • Domestic use: Miniaturized indoor epiphytic orchid, ideal on a raft; suitable for bright environments with high humidity
  • Key features: Miniaturized species with small white flowers with green veins (venosum) and a long spur; intense nocturnal fragrance; compact monopodial habit; highly sought after by collectors for its fragrance and rarity
  • Average adult size: 5–15 cm in height; flowers 1–2 cm in diameter
  • Flowering: Spring-summer; small white flowers with green veins and intense nocturnal fragrance
  • Fragrance: Yes — intense, predominantly nocturnal

🌞 Light exposure: Medium, filtered, diffused light. Ideal near a bright window.

🚿 Watering: Regular throughout the year. Do not allow to dry out completely. Use rainwater or reverse osmosis water.

🌡️ Minimum tolerable temperature and cultivation temperature: Absolute minimum of 8°C. Prefers daytime temperatures between 16 and 26°C and nighttime temperatures between 8 and 14°C. Cool-intermediate climate; tolerates seasonal temperature fluctuations well.

🌱 Soil type and repotting: Ideal on a cork or wood raft. Repotting not necessary.

🌿 Fertilization: Every 2 weeks with very diluted fertilizer misted during active growth.

✂️ Pruning or other recommended agricultural treatments: Remove spent flower stalks. Do not cut roots.

💧 Environmental humidity: High humidity (65–80%). Good ventilation is essential.

Sizes are purely indicative and refer to a mature plant.

🌿 Flowering Plants

CelaOrchidee.it reserves the right not to ship flowering plants or plants with buds, as these are easily damaged during transport despite careful packaging.

For plants purchased from the FLOWERING section, CelaOrchidee.it is not responsible for the integrity of flowers and buds upon delivery. Complaints and return requests in this case will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to send non-flowering plants, at our discretion, if the flowering stage does not meet our quality standards.

📏 Sizes and Stages

  • Plants N years to flower: young plants that will take approximately N years to flower.
  • Flowering-strength plants: young plants or divisions of mature plants that have already flowered once or will reach flowering size within the year.
  • Adult plants: good-sized plants that have already flowered multiple times.

The ability to re-flower over time depends solely on the customer's proper care. Pot size, substrates, and supports may vary depending on availability.

🛡️ Liability

  • Goods travel at the risk and peril of the customer.
  • CelaOrchidee.it assumes no responsibility for disruptions caused by force majeure (accidents, strikes, natural events, etc.).
  • CelaOrchidee.it is not responsible for fraudulent use of credit cards by third parties: the card number is never accessible to the seller, being transmitted directly to the bank via a protected connection.
  • The photographs on the website are purely indicative. Some images come from external sources: anyone who recognizes their photo and does not wish to see it published is kindly asked to contact us.
  • Gift cards are valid for 1 year from purchase, after which the amount will no longer be usable.

⚠️ Customer Obligations

📩 Complaints, Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Complaints

  • Goods must be inspected within 24 hours of receipt, even if the packaging is intact.
  • Any discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Reports beyond this deadline will not be considered.

Cancellations or Modifications

  • Cancellation or modification is only possible before the order enters processing.
  • With PayPal payment, it is never possible to cancel or modify the order.

Returns

  • CelaOrchidee.it will replace the product only if it does not conform to what was ordered, subject to written agreement within 30 days of receipt.
  • It is not possible to return plants that conform to the order as they are perishable goods.
  • Non-perishable materials can be returned within 14 days of receipt, intact, unwashed, undamaged, and with original labels. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, including responsibility in case of loss or damage of the products.

Refunds

  • The refund will be processed within 14 days of the withdrawal notification, after verification of the returned products.
  • The refund will be issued via voucher or gift card.
  • In case of installment payment, the refund will be made after receipt of the last installment.
